The Bernāti Beach Boardwalk is a modern wooden walkway constructed in 2019 within the Bernāti Nature Park in the South Kurzeme region of Latvia. Located along the Baltic Sea coast near Bernāti, with approximate coordinates of 56.36604 latitude and 20.97684 longitude. It consists of two sections forming a loop trail: a narrower segment (1.2 m wide) includes stairs, while the wider one (1.5–1.8 m wide) is stair-free, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities and parents with strollers.
The total length is about 0.6 km (excluding the seasonal extension), ending at a viewing platform with a comfortable bench for resting and enjoying the serene sea and natural views. In summer, a composite material extension in the sandy beach area allows access almost to the water's edge. The path starts with asphalt surfacing, and slopes reach 10–16% in places, so wheelchair users may need assistance. Part of the broader Baltic Sea coastal trail system, it offers a chance to experience untouched nature, with exploration taking around 20 minutes. Nearby shops are in Nīca and Liepāja, making it an ideal spot for family walks or seaside relaxation.
