Bernāti Beach is one of the gems of Latvia's western Baltic coast, located in the South Kurzeme region, just 15 km south of Liepāja. This wide, white-sand beach is part of Bernāti Nature Park – a unique protected area with ancient pine-covered dunes, including Latvia's highest coastal dune, Pūsēnu Hill (37 m). Here, you can enjoy peace and wild nature: walks along mythology-inspired educational trails, sunrises and sunsets at the "Green Ray" marker – the symbolic westernmost point of Latvia. However, caution is advised – the sea can be treacherous with sudden drop-offs and rip currents. It's an ideal spot for those seeking tranquility, the scent of pines, and a true connection with the power of the Baltic Sea.
